The Stuck Mic AvCast is an aviation podcast about Learning to Fly, Living to Fly, and Loving to Fly, brought to you by @ExpertAviator with co-hosts @ToriaFly, @AviaSean, and @RFelty. Fly Smart. Fly Safe.
Now if only my airline would hurry the heck up and get the iPad approved in our FAR Part 121 operations here so we could finally ditch these flight cases.
While the FREE Flipboard iPad app isn’t an aviation application per se, they do coin themselves as your “personalized social magazine.” Flipboard is basically an aggregate reader app for the iPad that brilliantly displays your social feeds in a personalized magazine format.
Not only that, but you can interact within the Flipboard app with your friends and followers on Twitter and Facebook, never having to leave the application during your content consumption enjoyment.
So, what I’ve done is created a very special aviation Twitter list of the most influential and informational tweeps that create the highest quality aviation products, media, and content. This video demonstration shows you how to use the Flipboard iPad app to subscribe to my aviation Twitter list so you can get started today and enjoy your aviation content and media using this gorgeous interface.
I personally curate this list, meaning, when someone falls short of my standards I simply remove them from the Twitter list and you’ll never be bothered by them again. Vice versa, if I find someone new and exciting worthy of our attention, I’ll gladly add them to the list. It’s completely hands off on your end. All you do is pull up the feed on your Flipboard and enjoy the content I’ve put together for you – it’s ever-changing and always expanding. Sweet, eh?
Watch the video above for the full instructions on how to download the Flipbard app and subscribe to ThePilotReport’s recommended Twitter list – go ahead, this app is totally FREE. And please, if you’ve found this video helpful, I’d love for you to Tweet it out, Like it on Facebook, and/or leave a comment below – I can’t wait to hear from you!
