Welcome our Friends at CRAZEDpilot!

In the world of aviation, relationships are king. That’s why we’ve decided to partner up with the folks at CRAZEDpilot.com to serve as an affiliate for their products!

The reality is people do business with people. And Stuck Mic AvCast founder Len Costa has spent a great deal of time speaking with and becoming good friends with both Brendan and Dan of CRAZEDpilot and can personally speak for not only their friendly attitude but their excellent customer service. We highly recommend you check them out if you’re looking for such aviation products as: DVD’s, Headsets, Pilot Gear, Aircraft Gear, and More!

In the interest of full disclosure, being an affiliate means that Stuck Mic AvCast will receive a commission from any products that you buy using our links. Those commissions support the operational costs of the website and podcast and we know you’re cool with that so we just wanted to be upfront with you. That being said, we usually only share things we consider safe for our lovely Mother, but we have to mention it either way.

So check them out! We promise you’ll have a wonderful buying experience otherwise we wouldn’t put our reputation on the line for them.

How to Record Cockpit/ATC Audio with GoPro or Camcorder

In this short video Len Costa shows you how he records cockpit and ATC audio on his GoPro Hero 2 including the audio cable he uses and where to buy it.

This very cable CAN be used to record cockpit and ATC audio on ANY camcorder or video camera that has a 3.5mm (⅛ inch) Microphone Input plug so it’s not exclusive to only recoding with GoPro’s.

However, this cable WILL NOT work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch! No Android devices were available for testing so no comments can be made on compatibility with this audio cable.

Quick link to the cable here: StuckMicAvCast.com/audiocable

***CORRECTION: Cable plugs into airplane headphone port, not microphone port***

***UPDATED FEB 10, 2013*** Due to cable malfunctions with the original product seen on Aircraft Spruce we now recommend a NEW cable that you’ll be directed to when clicking StuckMicAvCast.com/audiocable for more information

PS – Did you know that by clicking the affiliate links in this blog post that you help support our website? There’s no extra cost to you, we receive a small percentage, and it helps us maintain the podcast. Plus you’ll get extra karma points in our logbook! Thank you for continued listenership.
