  1. Shouts to NVC! Nate was my CFI at Albert Whitted in 2007-2008. I was finishing up my PP training just as my fiance and I were about to get married and road trip around the country for 2 weeks. I studied all night for my check ride getting sick to my stomach with nerves, so I called Nate and told him I was going to put off the check ride until after our honeymoon “so I would have more cash for the trip”. He saw right through it. The next day he handed me a copy of “Illusions” by Richard Bach with a thoughtful note penned on the inside jacket… and the $300 cash to cover the check ride. Solid!
